Job description

In this position, you will be at the forefront of providing hands-on technical support and customer service in a fast-paced environment. Your responsibilities will include offering face-to-face IT support to users, installing and troubleshooting hardware, diagnosing issues with personal devices like PCs and printers, and testing system changes in Windows 10 and Office 365 environments. Additionally, you will manage small projects related to hardware or software installations and ensure software updates are applied using tools like MS SCCM. Your proactive approach, technical expertise, and dedication to customer satisfaction will play a crucial role in maintaining the smooth operation of IT services and contributing to the success of our organization.

Responsibilities

  • Provide hands-on face-to-face IT support to users, addressing technical issues and inquiries promptly and effectively.
  • Install, relocate, and uninstall hardware devices such as PCs, laptops, printers, and scanners as needed, ensuring seamless functionality.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot problems related to personal hardware, including conducting hardware repairs and replacements when necessary.
  • Test system and application changes in MS Windows 10 and MS Office 365 environments, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruptions.
  • Manage small projects associated with new hardware or software installations, coordinating tasks and resources to ensure timely and successful implementation.

Qualifications

  • 2 years of experience in a technical ICT (Information and Communication Technology) environment, demonstrating proficiency in providing end-user support and troubleshooting.
  • Strong knowledge of general end-user technology, including hardware devices, operating systems, and common software applications.
  • Familiarity with end-user workspace platforms such as discovery, asset management, and client management tools.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft platforms including Active Directory, Office suite, and SCCM (System Center Configuration Manager), with the ability to perform software installations and updates.
  • Excellent soft skills including planning, organization, attention to detail, problem-solving, analysis, flexibility, customer sensitivity, and technical writing, along with fluency in both English
